My name is Theresa Turner, and I am a K-5 music teacher with 13 years under my belt. I have been privileged to work at my school since it opened. This year will be the tenth year! I am passionate about music and connecting music teachers so we can learn from each other. I am also a huge advocate for positivity and kindness. I have come to learn that sharing what you know and connecting with others is one of the best ways to grow your own confidence and gain new insight and ideas to make you a better educator, learner, leader, and all in all a better person! If you want to see more about what happens in my music class please feel free to visit my classroom website or follow @McClureMusic on twitter.
As far as my thoughts, chats, and discussions, please feel free to follow me @TunefulTechie. (I try to keep my school page relevant to my students and literally what is happening within my school and school community mostly because I have the feed on my school website where the kids see it daily. 😉 ) I am married with 3 kids of my own as well as 3 dogs. It’s busy and sometimes a bit chaotic, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I love tech, the outdoors, and playing games. I am a lifetime girl scout as well. I lead girls, but I am also now a service unit coach. My husband has his own web development company: Darkspire Media, so tech is big in my household as well. (He also hosts my websites.)
